By Land

From Morehead City and points south: Take Highway 70 east through Morehead City and Radio Island and continue over the Gallants Channel bridge to Beaufort. At the base of the bridge, use the right turn lane to make an immediate right on to Town Creek Drive followed by another right turn into our parking lot.

From Havelock, Kinston, Goldsboro, Raleigh and points west: Take Highway 70 east to Havelock. Turn left at the intersection of 70 and 101 and follow 101 south to Beaufort. At the intersection of 101 and 70, turn right at the light on to 70 and continue through the traffic light at Turner Street. Stay left and use the left turn lane to turn left on to Town Creek Drive and then right into Town Creek Marina’s parking lot.

From Downeast and Cedar Island: Take Highway 70 west to Beaufort. Just past the intersection of Turner Street and 70, stay left and use the left turn lane to turn left on to Town Creek Drive and then right into Town Creek Marina’s parking lot.

Beaufort is served by several local taxi companies, Uber, and Lyft as well as by private car services.

By Water

From Beaufort Inlet and Beaufort Channel heading north: Follow markers north through the location of the former Beaufort drawbridge (the bridge and footings have been removed). Pass under the 85′ high power lines and stay in the channel on a heading toward the 65′ Gallants Channel bridge, keeping the G/R “TC” junction buoy to starboard until you pass it. Once past the “TC”, turn to starboard keeping both the “TC” and “R2” to your starboard side. Town Creek Marina will be on your port side, on the north side of Town Creek. From the ICW and Morehead City heading north: Use directions from Beaufort Channel above OR pass under the Morehead City 65’ fixed bridge and turn starboard to split the “G3” and “R2” markers. Follow the channel north to the R/G taking Gallants Channel to starboard. Follow Gallants Channel and pass under the 65’ Gallants Channel fixed bridge. You will see a G/R “TC” junction buoy ahead. Keep the “TC” to starboard as well as the “R2” ahead. Town Creek Marina will be on your port side, on the north side of Town Creek. From the ICW and Adam’s Creek heading south: At G29 enter Russell’s Slough, keeping G&R “RS” to starboard. Follow markers south to Gallants Channel. Pass under the 65’ Gallants Channel fixed bridge. You will see a G/R “TC” junction buoy ahead. Keep the “TC” to starboard as well as the “R2” ahead. Town Creek Marina will be on your port side, on the north side of Town Creek. Michael J. Smith Field is located one mile from Town Creek Marina. Convenient commercial airports offering daily flights are located in New Bern, NC (one hour drive), Wilmington, NC (one hour and 45 minute drive), and Raleigh/Durham, NC (three hour drive).
